Valencia Music is dedicated to building a musical community with all of our students. We want to work with students of all ages and levels to not only help them develop their love of music, but to also become part of a larger, musical family.
Long time music instructors Jose Valencia and Kelly Bennett teamed up with a dream to start a school that really focused on giving students the music instruction they deserve. The two not ony have long performance histories, (both separate and together) but they have a long standing love of putting on student performances in venues such as Crossroads, UCPAC, Cranford Dramatic Club, PNC Bank Arts Center, and more!
Every instructor at Valencia Music is an educated, experienced instructor, holding a BA, BM or commensurate experience and education in music. They offer performance opportunities to all students. More than any other reason, however, these teachers really care about teaching students the music that they want to learn as well as bringing students together to make music as a community. While there is a focus on teaching well-rounded student musicians who will develop an ability to read music, teachers strive to keep students motivated and engaged by working with each student individually on their own goals.
