Charlotte Sessions Piano Instructor

Charlotte started singing and playing the piano and flute when she was 8 years old. Since then, she has been involved in theater productions, marching band, concert band, and choir throughout elementary, middle and high school. She also took jazz piano lessons with Garry Dial from the ages of 13-19. She wrote and performed her first song at her high school talent show when she was 17 years old and continued to write and perform more songs onwards.

Charlotte then went off to Berklee College of Music to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Contemporary Writing and Production/Professional Music. There, she learned and expanded on various skills, such as arranging, orchestrating, producing, film scoring, songwriting, performing, conducting, and musical theater writing. Her principal instrument was piano and her secondary instrument was voice. She graduated summa cum laude in 2022.

Charlotte has had various experiences performing her original music solo (piano and voice) and with a rhythm section in the Boston, NJ and NY areas. She has also played piano in Watchung Hills Regional High School’s 2024 production of Pippin and is currently one of the mentors for a young adult singer songwriter circle in New Brunswick, NJ. So far, she released two singles on all streaming platforms, titled “Should I Be the Man?” and “I’ve Fallen for a Dragon”, and plans on releasing more music soon. Her genres include jazz, pop, rock, soul and folk.
