Mia DeSantis is a lifelong singer, song-writer, musician and entertainer. At the age of 9, Mia’s music career started when she published her first song, and ever since then she’s continued to follow her passion. Mia began professionally training shortly after the release and at the age of 14, she joined Valencia School of Music as a voice student under Kelly Bennett.
Mia is no stranger to the stage as she excelled in musical theater throughout her middle and high school years. The combination of her acting and voice landed Mia the majority of lead roles in over ten shows. Her favorite roles include Donna in Momma Mia and Roxie Hart in Chicago. When she wasn’t on stage, Mia was also involved behind the scenes in show rehearsals enlightening young students in acting and voice. Her eccentric stage presence and knowledge of music continues to carry her throughout her theater and music career.
Aside from theater, Mia has taken up a few projects of her own, including songwriting, master production and band performance. Mia continues to do this while balancing her education at Kean University in the Speech-Language Pathology program. Mia aims to focus on a career in music therapy as she believes in the countless benefits of music in one’s life.
