Peter Houdalis is a graduate of DePaul University and Rutgers University. He recently earned his Master of Music Performance degree from DePaul University in Chicago. During his education, he studied with esteemed wind pedagogues from both the New York Philharmonic and Chicago Symphony Orchestra – including Roger Nye, Bill Buchman, and Miles Maner.
Peter has a wide range of performance experience on multiple instruments, performing with orchestras, wind ensembles, chamber ensembles, and pit orchestras throughout New Jersey, New York, and Chicago. Notable groups include the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, Eastern Wind Symphony, as well as the New York Youth Symphony which earned a Grammy for Best Orchestral Performance in 2023.
